About
the USL Premier Development League
The PDL consists of 64
teams split into eight divisions
in four conferences. The divisions represent the following regions:
Eastern Conference (Northeast and Mid-Atlantic), Central Conference
(Great Lakes and Heartland), Southern Conference (Mid South and
Southeast), and Western Conference (Northwest and Southwest). Each team
will play a schedule of 18 games along with various exhibitions and
non-league games. Four teams per conference, including the top two
teams in the Northeast division, will make the playoffs at the end of
the season. In addition, four teams from the PDL will qualify for the
US Open Cup as determined by the results of four early-season games per
team.
